We are Shane and Beth Hawkins, husband and wife wedding photographers based in Knoxville, Tennessee. We photographed our first wedding in 2012 and have since captured almost 500 weddings throughout East Tennessee and all over the continental United States. We believe East Tennessee is one of the most beautiful places on earth and we love the variety of backdrops from the lakes, rivers, fields, mountains, farms, towns and cities found throughout this beautiful region.
We have always been attracted to photography for a variety of reasons. We love capturing the beauty of life and we truly believe there is absolutely nothing more beautiful than a couple in love. Every smile, laugh and tear is a small step in a longer journey that is both unpredictable and exciting at the same time. We believe every photograph tells a story and it is our purpose to be the storytellers. Our style is very natural with the purpose of capturing the love and emotion of the moment. We believe in using true to life colors and accurate skin tones to create a timeless look that will never go out of style. It is our dream that the priceless images we capture will be passed down in your family for generations to come.
Our story began when we met in high school in 2005 and the rest was history. We became engaged in the summer of 2011 and tied the knot in June of 2013. Our wedding was incredible and filled with so many beautiful memories and we love to share our happiness with other couples through photographs. We are dog lovers through and through and even included our pups in our wedding as ring bearers. Since we got married in 2013, we have spent our time traveling and taking road trips with our toy poodles and baby golden doodle. We love outdoor adventures and exploring new places with our fur babies! We are eternally grateful for all of the interesting places and people we have met along our journey!
